Job summary

ResetData is seeking a Solutions Engineer to bridge AI infrastructure with customer engagement, designing solutions and enabling sales. This pre-sales, customer-facing role will focus on solution design and sales enablement, without hands-on delivery, handing over to the delivery team after contract signing.

You will work with developers, startups, enterprise, and government customers, collaborating with sales, delivery, and partners.

The role:

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer who lives at the intersection of AI infrastructure and customer engagement. You will bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and customer needs – designing solutions, supporting the sales process, and helping customers across all segments understand what's possible on the ResetData platform.

This is a pre‑sales, customer‑facing role. Your primary focus is solution design and sales enablement. You'll do what it takes to get deals over the line, but you won't be responsible for hands‑on implementation or post‑deployment delivery. You'll hand over to the delivery team once the contract is signed.

You'll work across all customer segments – from developers and startups to enterprise and government – and collaborate closely with sales, delivery, engineering, and our partner ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect AI infrastructure and cloud solutions from our product portfolio that meets customer requirements across our IaaS/GPUaaS platform, NVIDIA‑based infrastructure, and AI/ML service portfolio.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs with accurate, compelling proposals that clearly articulate the business and technical value of ResetData's platform.
• Partner closely with the sales team throughout the deal cycle, acting as the technical authority on solution fit, feasibility, and scoping, then with the Delivery Manager to validate scope, feasibility, and capacity.
• Work with ResetData's partner ecosystem – MSPs, resellers, and channel partners – supporting partner‑led opportunities with technical expertise and solution design as needed.
• Stay across the latest developments in AI infrastructure, GPU/HPC technologies, and industry trends.
• Bring ideas to the table on how ResetData can better serve clients and expand its solution portfolio.

What You'll Bring

• You’re an Australian citizen (required for government clients)
• Solid experience in pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles. This could come from an MSP, SI, Consultancy, or the AI or Infrastructure space. You have technical expertise with a track record of designing and delivering impactful solutions that win customers.
• An understanding of AI infrastructure fundamentals – HPC and GPU architectures, how they underpin AI/ML workloads, and why they matter to customers.
• You know how large language models are trained, fine‑tuned, and deployed, and the infrastructure implications of each.
• The ability to craft clear, persuasive, and technically accurate proposals and RFP responses.
• Excellent communication skills – able to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• You’re a natural problem‑solver, able to translate technical requirements into business‑ready strategies.
• Nice‑to‑haves (not essential) include experience with or understanding of Kubernetes, AI/ML platforms, and Bare Cloud Management (BCM) concepts, some exposure to the NVIDIA ecosystem, and an understanding of data sovereignty principles.
