Job summary

Mindcloud Consultants in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Senior ICT Solutions Specialist to architect and present cost-effective technical solutions for complex customer requirements.

You will lead pre-sales activities, conduct PoCs, prepare BOMs and tender responses, and engage customers to understand pain points. The role requires 8+ years ICT experience and strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Solaris, cloud, virtualization, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years ICT experience with implementation & deployment (Mandatory).
• Technical pre-sales and technical solution sales experience.
• Familiar with Windows, Solaris and Linux (two preferred).
• Cloud computing experience with Azure or AWS.
• Scripting languages: Perl, Python, Java.
• Experience with VMware & Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of WebLogic, Oracle DB, ESB is advantageous.
• Visa status: AU/NZ citizen or PR preferred.

Minimum 8 years of ICT experience with prior experiences in Implementation & Deployment (Mandatory) Technical Pre-sales Technical Solution Sales (Preferred) Project management ICT Operations (Preferred) Expert level knowledge in Windows, Solaris, Linux (Any 2 preferred with relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCA etc.) Familiar with storage & backup such as EMC, HDS etc. (Relevant Certification preferred) Familiar with VMware & Hyper-V Familiar with Cloud computing either in Azure or AWS (Relevant certifications highly desirable) Familiar with scripting languages and common web interfacing protocols such as Perl, Python, Java, REST , SOAP etc..
