Job summary

Charterhouse is seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Observability to join a major enterprise infrastructure transformation program. This architecture-focused role drives an enterprise-wide observability strategy and sets scalable standards across cloud, infrastructure and applications.

The successful candidate will define target-state architectures, develop principles and roadmaps, and collaborate with SRE, Infrastructure, Security and Engineering teams to rationalise tools

Qualifications

• 10+ years across Solution Architecture, Observability, SRE or Infrastructure.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale observability architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry or similar platforms.
• Understanding of cloud, hybrid infrastructure, Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Experience with telemetry, metrics, logs, traces, alerting and SLI/SLO frameworks.
• Ability to define target-state architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and architecture teams.
