Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking a Solution Architect to shape a complex Finance and HR technology environment in Parkville, Melbourne. You will define target architecture and lead the technical evaluation of options through an RFP process, guiding uplift decisions for a major platform.

You will collaborate with Finance, HR, Procurement, Payroll and IT teams to present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders. The role is a 12-month fixed-term assignment with hybrid working in Parkville.

Qualifications

• Strong solution architecture experience across ERP, Finance or HR platforms.
• Experience contributing to RFx's for ERP implementations.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical architecture options.

12 month fixed term assignment | Parkville, hybrid working | Up to $190,000 package including super, plus salary packaging

We're looking for a Solution Architect to help shape the future of a complex Finance and HR technology environment within a large Australian NFP. This is an opportunity to influence a major platform decision, from reviewing the current Workday setup through to assessing whether it should be uplifted or replaced.

Working closely with Finance, HR, Procurement, Payroll and technology teams, you'll define the target architecture and lead the technical evaluation of options through an RFP process. You'll also identify practical improvements that can stabilise the current platform while the longer term decision is made.

What you’ll be doing

• Assess Workday configuration, integrations and technical debt across Finance, HR and Procurement, alongside the wider payroll environment.
• Develop current and future state architecture, integration designs and technical evaluation criteria.
• Evaluate vendor proposals for functional fit, security, integration, cost and long term suitability.
• Present clear recommendations and trade-offs to senior stakeholders and project governance groups.
• Work with business and technology teams to simplify the architecture and reduce technical risk.

What you’ll bring

• Strong solution architecture experience across ERP, Finance or HR platforms, including a platform evaluation, selection or major uplift.
• Experience contributing to RFx's for ERP implementations.
• The ability to assess a complex technology environment and turn business needs into practical architecture options.
• Sound knowledge of integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, security and data architecture.
• Experience with Workday or a comparable enterprise platform would be highly regarded.
• The confidence to work with vendors and explain technical decisions clearly to business leaders.
