Job summary

Rest is seeking a Solution Architect to shape end-to-end architectures for digital and member services across web, mobile, contact centre, and personalization platforms. You’ll translate business needs into pragmatic architecture options and ensure alignment with Rest’s technology strategy and governance.

Strong experience in API-led integrations and security considerations is essential. You will collaborate with delivery, cyber security, risk, data, operations and vendor teams to guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technology Design role for digital/web/mobile/contact centre solutions.
• Sound understanding of end-to-end architecture across application, data, security, and operations.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, user-centred digital solutions for web, mobile and service environments.
• Experience with API-led integrations and third-party platforms, SaaS products, vendor solutions.
• Ability to translate business outcomes into solution options and architecture guidance.
• Knowledge of non-functional requirements including security, privacy, resilience, and performance.
• Familiarity with identity and modern authentication patterns (OAuth2/OpenID Connect).
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholders to align architecture intent and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end solution architectures for Rest’s digital and member service channels.
• Translate business outcomes into pragmatic architecture options and recommendations.
• Ensure solutions align with Rest’s technology strategy, standards and governance.
• Design channel solutions for secure, simple, consistent member experiences.
• Identify and manage architectural risks and trade-offs (security, privacy, resilience).
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering, cyber security, risk, data, operations and vendor teams.
• Prepare architecture artefacts and endorsements for governance forums.
• Contribute to architecture assets and patterns to improve consistency and reuse.
• Monitor trends in digital and personalization technologies for strategic impact.
