## Solution Architect - DataApply: St Lucia Campus: Full time: Posted Today: R-54001* Information Technology Services (ITS)* Full-time, permanent position* Base salary will be in the range $140,766 - $148,862 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 9)* Based at our St Lucia location# **About This Opportunity**The Solution Architect - Data provides strategic leadership for the organisation’s data architecture, establishing the frameworks, standards, and enterprise data models that enable trusted, integrated, and reusable data capabilities. The role guides solution delivery, platform evolution, and promotes innovation and continuous improvement across data and integration services.Key responsibilities will include:* Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture, standards, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture principles, and data governance frameworks.* Establish and promote data architecture principles, standards, patterns, and best practices to enable consistent, trusted, and reusable data capabilities across the organization.* Lead the development and governance of enterprise data modelling frameworks and standards across conceptual, logical, and physical layers, while providing leadership and mentoring to data modellers to ensure consistent adoption and organisational capability growth.* Provide solution design leadership and architectural oversight for data platforms, and integration solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.* Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions and provide architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.* Drive data platform capability uplift, shaping the technology roadmap, evaluating emerging technologies, managing architectural risk and technical debt, and ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.# **About UQ**As part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.Everyone here has a role to play.
