Job summary

Australian Motoring Services is expanding its Architecture Practice and seeking a Solution Architect who can bridge business strategy and technology delivery across complex automotive and mobility ecosystems.

Working across automotive services, EV technologies, field operations, logistics, integration, data, cloud and customer platforms, you'll design scalable, secure solutions that drive measurable business outcomes and enable faster value realization.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or technology delivery.
• Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT and modern architecture practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture from concept through delivery.
• Design end-to-end solutions across multiple systems and domains.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure technology outcomes.
• Present recommendations and trade-offs to stakeholders and governance forums.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery teams and vendors.

Working across a diverse landscape including automotive services, EV technologies, field operations, logistics, integration, data, cloud and customer platforms, you'll design scalable solutions that drive real business outcomes.

What you'll do

• Lead solution architecture from concept, option analysis and business case through to delivery
• Design end-to-end solutions across multiple systems and domains
• Translate business needs into practical, scalable and secure technology outcomes
• Present recommendations and trade-offs to stakeholders and governance forums
• Collaborate closely with engineering, delivery teams and vendors
• Contribute to architecture standards, governance and best practice

What you'll bring

• Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions across complex environments
• Strong knowledge of integration, APIs, cloud, data and emerging technologies
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders
• Experience working within enterprise architecture frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Exposure to automotive, mobility, logistics or field services is highly regarded
