Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnering with a large public sector organisation to place an experienced Solution Architect on a 3-month contract. You will provide end-to-end architectural guidance across BAU and project work, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery.

You will engage stakeholders, design integrations across vendor solutions, and oversee major upgrades while exploring AI, automation, and digital workplace initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end solution architecture across initiatives including Health & Safety platform implementation and vendor integrations.
• Oversee a major Contract Management System upgrade.

• Research and design digital workplace and information management capabilities.

Job description

Are you a hands‑on Solution Architect who can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery? We're partnering with a large public sector organisation that is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join their technology team on an initial 3-month contract, supporting a busy project pipeline while providing architectural guidance across business‑as‑usual initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of applications, infrastructure, integration, and business transformation, working closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors to deliver fit‑for‑purpose technology solutions.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for providing end‑to‑end solution architecture across several key initiatives, including:

• A new Health & Safety platform implementation, designing integrations between vendor solutions and internal systems.
• A major Contract Management System upgrade.
• Emerging AI and automation initiatives, including Microsoft Copilot Studio and the development of intelligent agents.
• Research and solution design for new digital workplace and information management capabilities.
• Architectural oversight and collaboration across applications, infrastructure, and project delivery teams.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working within Local Government, State Government, or Federal Government environments.
• Strong solution architecture experience across a broad technology landscape.
• Ability to engage stakeholders, understand business problems, and translate requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Microsoft technologies, including:
• Dynamics 365
• Power Platform
• Agent design and implementation
• Integration architecture experience, particularly with:
• Boomi
• SSIS
• Microsoft integration technologies
• Exposure to Local Government platforms such as TechnologyOne.
• Experience working across both project delivery and operational environments.
