Job summary

Salient Group are working with a large enterprise organisation that is accelerating its AI and digital capability across Australia. The Senior Solution Architect will help shape, assess and design AI and digital initiatives within this transformation, translating business ideas into practical, scalable technology solutions.

This is a hands-on role in complex enterprise environments, collaborating with technology leadership, programme teams, stakeholders and engineering groups to evaluate

Qualifications

• Experience as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect or Technology Architect in large enterprises.
• Strong integration architecture, APIs, cloud platforms.
• Experience with digital transformation, data, automation or AI-enabled solutions.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG and intelligent automation is desirable.
• Experience in regulated industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess new AI and digital use cases.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures.
• Understand current-state platforms, applications and integration points.
• Define how new solutions integrate into existing enterprise environments.

Contract | Senior Solution Architect | AI & Digital Transformation

Salient Group are working with a large enterprise organisation that is accelerating its investment in AI and digital capability across Australia. As part of this broader transformation, they are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to help shape, assess and design a range of upcoming AI and digital initiatives.

This is a hands‑on architecture role suited to someone who is comfortable working in complex enterprise environments, investigating ambiguous problems and translating business ideas into practical, scalable technology solutions.

The role

You will work closely with technology leadership, programme teams, business stakeholders and engineering teams to assess proposed solutions and understand how they fit within the existing technology environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Investigating and assessing new AI and digital use cases
• Designing end‑to‑end solution architectures
• Understanding current‑state platforms, applications and integration points
• Defining how new solutions can integrate into existing enterprise environments
• Evaluating technical options, trade‑offs and dependencies
• Supporting architecture governance and solution reviews
• Working across business, technology and delivery teams to move ideas from concept into implementation
• Contributing to broader AI and digital capability development

What we are looking for

• Strong experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect or Technology Architect
• Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of integration architecture, APIs, cloud platforms and enterprise systems
• Experience across digital transformation, data, automation or AI-enabled solutions
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI platforms or intelligent automation is highly desirable
• Strong problem‑solving and solution investigation capability
• Experience working within regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, banking, wealth, healthcare or government would be advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to operate across both strategic architecture and practical solution design
