Job summary

DERWIN RENDERING PTY LTD – Wetherill Park NSW is seeking skilled Solid Plasterers for a permanent full-time role, joining our busy team of tradespeople.

To be successful, ideally you will hold a Cert III Trade qualification (preferred) and/or a minimum of 3 years relevant plastering experience, with duties including plasterboard layouts, insulation and vapour barrier installs, securing corner beads, and fitting precast cornices and plaster fittings.

Qualifications

• Cert III Trade qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant plastering experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify plasterboard layouts, installation of insulation and vapour barriers.
• Modifying plasterboard, positioning panels and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens.
• Securing corner beads and fixing precast cornices, panels, mouldings and plaster fittings.
• Coating joins and nail holes; using trade tools and trowels.

Job Description

Derwin Rendering Pty Ltd are currently seeking skilled and experienced Full-time Solid Plasterers to join our busy team. To be successful for this opportunity, ideally you will have the following; Qualifications/Work Experience Required : Cert III Trade qualification (preferred, but not mandatory) and/or A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities and duties of the role will include:

• Identifying plasterboard layouts, installation of insulation and vapour barriers.
• Modifying plasterboard, positioning panels and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens.
• Securing corner beads.
• Fixing precast cornices, panels, mouldings and other plaster fittings. Coating joins and nail holes.
• Using trade tools, trowels, etc.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum.
