PERSOL in Sydney CBD is seeking a Solicitor or Senior Paralegal to join a growing boutique law firm with a strong commercial focus. You will work with experienced lawyers across the full lifecycle of matters, from initial client advice to resolution, with hands-on exposure to commercial, property, construction and disputes work.

Applicants should be highly motivated, commercially minded and eager to develop a broad legal skill set, benefiting from direct mentorship and accelerated progression

Qualifications

• Admitted solicitor in NSW with current practising certificate, or in progress of obtaining one.
• Some experience in commercial litigation, property, construction or dispute resolution is advantageous.
• Strong academic ability and genuine interest in developing legal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with and managing commercial, property and construction disputes.
• Drafting pleadings, affidavits, correspondence, contracts and other legal documentation.
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal advice.
• Assisting with mediations, negotiations and court proceedings.
• Liaising directly with clients, barristers, experts and other stakeholders.
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters, litigation and dispute resolution strategies.
• Taking ownership of tasks and matters while working collaboratively with the broader team.

About You
