RecruitShop is assisting a Brisbane-based boutique law firm seeking a solicitor with 3–4 years PQE in Commercial, Property, and/or Estate Planning. The role offers ownership potential and direct client contact.

You will work closely with senior practitioners within a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment. Offering flexible/hybrid working arrangements, the position prioritises professional development and work-life balance while handling a diverse portfolio for SMEs and high-net-worth

Qualificações

• 3 to 4 years PQE with exposure to commercial, property law and/or estate planning.
• Admission as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland with practising certificate.
• Strong legal research, drafting and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, resilient attitude with a willingness to learn from senior mentors.

Responsabilidades

• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, business sale and purchase agreements, and commercial/retail leases.
• Advising on corporate structuring and governance.
• Preparing estate planning suites from standard Wills to complex testamentary trusts.
• Handling Probate and Letters of Administration and assisting with estate disputes.
• Managing end-to-end client files and providing pragmatic legal advice to SMEs, families and high-net-worth individuals.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to manage a diverse portfolio across both Commercial and Property Law and Wills & Estates, gaining hands‑on file management experience and direct client contact. This is a permanent, full-time role within a growing team.

Working closely with senior practitioners and partners, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Commercial Law: Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, business sale and purchase agreements, and commercial and retail leases
• Corporate Advice: Advising on corporate structuring and governance
• Wills & Estates: Preparing comprehensive estate planning suites, from standard Wills and EPAs to complex testamentary trusts
• Estate Administration: Handling Probate and Letters of Administration, and assisting with estate dispute and litigation matters
• Client Advisory: Managing end-to‑end client files, providing pragmatic legal advice and building lasting relationships with SMEs, families and high‑net‑worth individuals

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• 3 to 4 years PQE with practical exposure to commercial, property law and/or estate planning
• Admission as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland, with a current practising certificate
• Strong legal research, drafting and problem‑solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
• A proactive, resilient attitude with a genuine desire to learn from senior mentors
• Excellent communication skills and the empathy required to guide clients through sensitive estate matters
