Hicksons | Hunt & Hunt | Holman Webb's Sydney Workers Compensation team is seeking a Junior Solicitor to join a collaborative, high-performing practice. Our team represents employers and insurers in a broad range of workplace injury matters.

You will develop expertise across liability, quantum and litigation strategy, with strong professional development opportunities and a supportive culture to advance your legal career.

Qualifications

• Sound technical knowledge across liability, quantum and litigation strategy.
• Exposure to workers compensation, insurance litigation or personal injury law.
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Assist with handling workers compensation claims and insurer matters.
• Support senior solicitors on liability and quantum assessments.
• Draft pleadings, memoranda and correspondence for clients and courts.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and client service improvements.

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Our Sydney Workers Compensation team is looking for a Junior Solicitor to join a collaborative, high-performing practice. Our team represents employers and insurers responding to the full spectrum of workplace injuries including major and minor orthopaedic, neurological, strain injuries, brain damage, catastrophic multi-injuries, exposure to hazardous substances, and psychological injury claims.

As the ideal candidate, you'll bring:

• Sound technical knowledge and a genuine interest in developing your expertise across liability, quantum, and litigation strategy
• Exposure to workers compensation, insurance litigation or personal injury law through prior legal experience, clerkships or practical legal training
• Sound legal research, drafting and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
