Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU in the ACT is seeking experienced rooftop solar installers for a permanent, full-time role. This position offers stable year-round work, competitive remuneration, career development and a strong commitment to work health and safety.

You will install rooftop PV systems, read installation drawings, work at heights safely, and complete job documentation while maintaining quality and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years proven experience in rooftop solar installation.
• Strong knowledge of solar roofing installation practices.
• Ability to work safely at heights.
• White Card and safety certifications.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Committed to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install rooftop solar PV systems in accordance with industry standards.
• Prepare and secure mounting systems on residential and commercial roofs.
• Install solar panels and associated rooftop components safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret installation plans and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Inspect completed installations to maintain quality standards.
• Work safely at heights using appropriate safety equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Complete required job documentation accurately.
