Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a related position or recent electrical engineering graduate.
• 2 years supervisory experience and ability to supervise field contractors safely.
• Technical School Diploma; college degree preferred.
• Strong electrical background with proficiency in Windows (Excel/Word).
• Willingness to be on-call 24 hours.
• Ability to work in remote field conditions and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with testing/diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
• NABCEP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify solar PV systems.
• Supervise contractors to ensure safety, quality, and timeliness.
• Respond to customer calls and remote alarm notifications.
• Perform field start-up, pre-commissioning, acceptance tests, and customer training.
• Coordinate project planning, installations, commissioning, and testing.
• Prepare procurement and vendor-service documentation.
• Review and file required reports and documentation.
• Maintain site housekeeping to 5S standards and safety protocols.
• Travel as required by regional needs.
• Communicate with remote operators and cross-functionally resolve issues.
