Job summary

Site View Security is seeking a Security Technician / Installer to support our growing Queensland operation. This hands-on role covers installation, servicing and commissioning of stand-alone solar-powered security systems across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich.

You'll work independently within a national team, using CCTV, intrusion detection and remote monitoring technology, and travel to client sites. A mix of practical skills and customer-focused service is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Driver Licence required.
• Current White Card.
• Queensland Security Provider Licence – Class 2 (Security Equipment Installer).
• Blue Card / Working with Children clearance.
• EWP licence up to 11m – preferred but not essential.
• CCTV and/or alarm experience preferred but not essential.
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A proactive, reliable and positive attitude.
• The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning Site View security systems.
• Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
• Preparing and manufacturing equipment for deployment.
• Diagnosing technical issues in the field.
• Working with CCTV, alarms and associated technology.
• liaising professionally with customers and site contacts.
• Ensuring installations are completed safely, neatly and to a high standard.
• Working autonomously while remaining part of a supportive national team.
