Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a Power Plant Field Supervisor with a strong electrical background to lead field start-up, commissioning and testing of solar PV systems. You will supervise on-site contractors, ensure safety, quality, and timely performance, and respond to customer service calls around the clock.

The role requires 1–2 years in related work or a recent electrical engineering graduate plus 2 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a related position, or
• Recent electrical engineering graduate.
• 2 years supervisory experience
• College degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying PV systems.
• Supervise field contractors to ensure safety, quality and scheduling.
• Act as primary responder to customer service calls and on-call 24/7.
• Coordinate on-site planning, installations, commissioning and testing.
