Job summary

G-Solar & Electrical in Cairns is seeking an experienced solar electrician with current Queensland electrical license and SAA accreditation to join our team delivering residential and commercial solar and battery storage projects across Far North Queensland.

You'll install, test and commission PV and storage systems, install EV chargers, and upgrade switchboards while working with quality equipment from Tesla, Fronius and BYD.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland electrical license.
• SAA accreditation for solar PV installation.
• Experience installing and commissioning solar systems.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical safety.
• Strong communication with customers and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission solar PV systems on residential and commercial projects across Far North Queensland.
• Install and commission battery storage systems within your accreditation.
• Install EV chargers and perform switchboard upgrades.
• Deliver safe, compliant installations and professional customer service.
