G-Solar & Electrical in Cairns is seeking an experienced solar electrician with current Queensland electrical license and SAA accreditation to join our team delivering residential and commercial solar and battery storage projects across Far North Queensland.

You'll install, test and commission PV and storage systems, install EV chargers, and upgrade switchboards while working with quality equipment from Tesla, Fronius and BYD.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

Battery accreditation is preferred, but not essential. If you’re an experienced solar electrician looking to build your battery skills, we can support your training and development.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work on residential and commercial projects throughout Far North Queensland, including:

• Installing, testing and commissioning solar PV systems.

• Installing and commissioning battery storage systems within your accreditation.

• Installing EV chargers and completing switchboard upgrades.

• Delivering safe, compliant installations and professional customer service.

What you’ll bring

• A current Queensland electrical license.

• Current SAA accreditation for solar PV installation.

• Practical experience installing and commissioning solar systems.

• Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, electrical safety and Ergon Energy’s QECM requirements.

• Attention to detail, reliable teamwork and clear communication with customers.

Battery accreditation, commercial solar experience and familiarity with hybrid inverters and backup systems will be well regarded.
