Job summary

Alliance Solar Pros LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineering Draftsperson to support the development of electrical drawings, plans and design documentation for solar projects. You will work with engineers to create accurate technical drawings and ensure designs meet project specifications.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, an electrical drafting qualification, and proficiency with CAD software to produce and maintain detailed drawings.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of electrical drafting or related role.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with CAD software and producing technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update electrical drawings, schematics and technical plans for solar installations.
• Assist engineers with layouts, cable routes and switchboard diagrams.
• Interpret specifications and site information to develop accurate drawings.
• Use CAD software to create, revise and maintain drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, installers and project managers to resolve drawing issues.
