Job summary

Pacific Energy is seeking a Senior Draftsperson to join our Engineering team in Kewdale, WA. You will produce and maintain high-quality electrical drawings, schematics and documentation supporting renewable energy and utility projects across Australia.

You will work with engineers through all project stages, ensuring accuracy, standards compliance and timely delivery. A strong drafting background and proficiency in CAD tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal drafting qualifications (Certificate IV or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical drafting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles and SLDs.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and detailed electrical drawings and schematics.
• Prepare wiring diagrams, SLDs and substation drawings.
• Support project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
• Ensure drawings meet client standards and project specs.
• Liaise with engineers, operations and delivery teams for accuracy.
• Perform quality checks per drafting standards and procedures.
• Contribute to drafting process improvements and tooling.
