Job summary

Pacific Energy in Western Australia seeks a Draftsperson to develop and modify electrical drawings, schematics and documentation, supporting projects from concept through to commissioning.

Joining the Design & Engineering team, you will work with engineers using AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery for renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Formal drafting qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in drafting or electrical design.
• Proficiency with CAD software: AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; knowledge of Revit.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and single line diagrams (SLDs).
• Convert specifications into high-quality technical drawings.
• Support projects from concept to commissioning.
• Prepare drawings per client specs and project requirements.
• Conduct drawing reviews and ensure QA compliance.
• Incorporate mark-ups and design changes from stakeholders.
• Contribute to drafting standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Operations & Maintenance activities as required.
