Job summary

SunPeople in Ulladulla is seeking an Electrician or Electrical Apprentice to join our installation team delivering Solar PV, Battery, and EV charger systems across the Shoalhaven area.

This role offers a structured apprenticeship pathway, on-site training, safety-focused workmanship, and strong office support.

You'll work locally, with company vehicle and phone for electricians, plus opportunities to grow into leadership or technical roles.

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Licence is required.
• Battery accreditation is preferred.
• Experience in Solar PV and Battery installation is preferred.
• Safety-focused with high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install Solar PV and battery systems on-site.
• Install EV chargers as required.
• Perform switchboard upgrades and electrical work.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and SAA guidelines.
• Support apprentices and teammates; coordinate with office and scheduling.

We’re looking for an Electrician and an Electrical Apprentice to join our Ulladulla based installation team delivering Solar PV, Battery, and EV charger systems across the Shoalhaven area for SunPeople's South Coast Branch.

These roles suit those interested in solar and battery work, who enjoy being on the tools, take pride in quality and value working within a well-supported and organised team.

Work you’ll be doing (based on role)

Solar PV and battery system installations

EV charger installations where required

Associated switchboard upgrades and electrical work

Ensure all work meets Australian Standards and SAA guidelines

Support apprentices and other team members

Maintain strong communication with office and scheduling teams

What we’re looking for

NSW Electrical Licence

Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship

Reliable, organised, and good communicator

Battery Accreditation (preferred)

Experience in Solar PV and Battery installation (preferred)

We will facilitate SAA and Battery Accreditation for the right candidate

Electricial Apprentice (new or continuing)

Reliable, punctual and keen to learn

Genuine interest in building a long-term career as an electrician

A team player who takes initiative and comfortable with manual handling

Safety-focused with strong attention to detail and good communication skills

NSW Safety White Card (or willing to obtain before starting)

Working at heights (desired, not essential - training can be provided)
