Job summary

Passionate Management in Armidale is seeking an experienced, licensed solar electrician to join our growing team. This role demands substantial solar installation experience and the ability to lead projects without constant supervision.

You will install residential and commercial solar systems, batteries, upgrade switchboards, test and commission, and mentor junior staff while maintaining professional customer communication.

Qualifications

• NSW unrestricted electrical licence is required.
• NSW Electrical Contractor Licence or ability to obtain one.
• Several years of hands-on solar installation experience.
• Strong switchboard, testing and fault-finding skills.
• Battery experience or willingness to develop in batteries and electrification.
• Ability to manage jobs independently.
• Current driver’s licence.

This isn’t an entry-level role. You’ll need substantial solar experience, high workmanship standards and the ability to lead installations without constant supervision.

The role

• Battery installations and broader electrification work

About you

• A current unrestricted NSW electrical licence
• A current NSW Electrical Contractor Licence, or the ability to obtain one
• Several years of hands‑on solar installation experience

• Battery experience or a desire to develop further in batteries and electrification
• The ability to manage jobs independently
• A current driver’s licence and White Card
• A dependable, collaborative and commercially minded approach

Current solar and battery accreditation will be highly regarded.
