Job summary

Rheinmetall Australia in Brisbane is seeking a Software Test Engineer in the CISRS team at the MILVEHCOE, Redbank, Queensland. You will contribute to design of software test plans and develop automated test frameworks to improve product quality and ensure functional correctness, performance, reliability and security.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in software engineering or computer science, plus hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript testing, strong communication, Linux/VM

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experience in development of automated tests using Python, Javascript and/or other test frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively.
• Comfortable working in development environments such as Linux / with Virtual Machines.
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).

This cross-functional team operate as a key stakeholder for all variants of the Boxer platform in relation to LAND 400 Ph2.About the RoleAs a Software Test Engineer within the CISRS team, you will contribute to the design of software test plans and develop and execute automated test frameworks that help improve the quality of the CISRS product. The primary objective of the Software Test Engineer will be conceiving and recommending testing solutions for the following: functional correctness of the product; the integration of subsystems, performance, reliability and security aspects of the system.
