Job summary

Rheinmetall Australia invites a Project Manager – Support Services to lead planning, coordination, and support for mission equipment and simulator deliveries. You will work with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure contracts are compliant and operational readiness is achieved.

The role requires consolidating performance metrics, managing budgets and risks, and guiding continuous improvements while maintaining clear progress updates for customers across Australia and international locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing projects and resources.
• Knowledge of ASDEFCON contract documentation.
• Ability to analyse issues and identify strengths/weaknesses of solutions.
• High level of self-motivation and ability to multi-task.
• Willingness to travel interstate and internationally.
• Eligibility to obtain Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, maintenance and support of mission equipment and simulator/training deliveries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor performance, budget, risk and KPIs; drive continuous improvements.
• Provide regular progress updates and status reporting to customers.
• Oversee strategic spares for Commonwealth locations within Australia.

About the Role

As our Project Manager – Support Services, you’ll lead the planning, coordination, maintenance and support of mission equipment and simulator / training equipment deliveries to for our customer. You’ll work closely with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, contract compliance and operational readiness. You’ll monitor project performance, budget, risk and KPIs while driving continuous improvements and delivering regular progress updates. The role also requires an oversight of the strategic spares to be maintained for several Commonwealth locations within Australia.

• Great experience in managing projects and project resources
• Knowledge of ASDEFCON contract documentation, both acquisition and support.
• Ability to analyse issues to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
• High level of self-motivation and standards with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to travel international and interstate, when required.
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
