Job summary

Kinexus is partnering with the Australian Signals Directorate to recruit TSPV-cleared Software Engineers/Developers. The role focuses on secure software development, systems integration and DevSecOps to support Active Cyber Defence capabilities.

This 12-month contract offers hybrid work arrangements in Canberra, Melbourne or Perth, and requires TSPV clearance. You will design, develop, test, document and maintain complex software components and integration services for ASD capabilities.

We've partnered with the Australian Signals Directorate, who are seeking TSPV-cleared Software Engineers/Developers with specialist skills in software development, systems integration, automation, secure coding practices, DevSecOps, testing and application support. You will design, develop, test, document and maintain complex software components and integration services that support Active Cyber Defence capabilities.

This will be an initial 12-month contract role with 2 x 12-month extensions, available with hybrid arrangements in either Canberra (ACT), Melbourne (VIC) or Perth (WA). Candidates must have a TSPV clearance.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, implement and maintain complex software applications, services, scripts and system integrations that support Active Cyber Defence capabilities.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into secure, scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Develop and support system integration and automation solutions, including APIs, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices and deployment activities.
• Participate in software design, architecture, testing and quality assurance activities, including code reviews and defect resolution.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve the performance, reliability, security and operational effectiveness of software systems and services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, maintain technical documentation, comply with ASD security requirements, and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability uplift across the team.
