Job summary

Medibank invites applications for a Software Engineer (MarTech) to join our AI Hub on a 12-month fixed-term basis. You will design, build and optimize marketing technology platforms and integrations that power customer engagement and growth.

Working across product, design, marketing and technology, you’ll deliver high-quality software solutions, leverage AWS, microservices and RESTful APIs, and advance DevSecOps practices to ensure scalable, secure marketing capabilities for our everyday health

Qualifications

• Experience building and supporting enterprise applications and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, APIs, JSON and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with Java, microservices and cloud-based architectures.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and RESTful APIs is a plus.

You’ll focus on marketing technology platforms and engineering solutions that support customer engagement and broader business initiatives.

Working across product, design, marketing and technology, you’ll build, integrate and optimise modern marketing technology capabilities while delivering high-quality software solutions that enable business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality software solutions across the full development lifecycle.

• Strong experience building and supporting enterprise applications and integrations.

• Experience with Java, microservices and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, RESTful APIs, integration patterns, CI/CD tooling or customer-facing enterprise technology solutions will be highly regarded.
