EVSE Australia is seeking a Software Engineer to help design, develop, and deploy complex software features and systems. You will improve business efficiency, implement integrations, and enhance our data analytics capabilities.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or other general purpose programming languages.
• Initiative to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Experience with AWS, particularly AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).

• Product Design Consult with key stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
• Engage with project scoping activities and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Support project planning activities including timeline estimation and resource allocation.
• Development Collaborate with other software engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Develop and deploy maintainable, extensible, and scalable code.
• Design and implement internal business automation tools and processes.
• System Design Develop scalable, reliable cloud data hosting and processing solutions.
• Design and implement processes for proactive issue identification and resolution.
• Deploy and maintain logging frameworks and performance monitoring tools.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical field


• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or other general purpose programming languages


• Initiative to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements


• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly AWS CDK for infrastructure as code


• Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)

Desirable Qualifications

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and practices (unit testing, integration testing)


• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practices


• Experience with API design and RESTful services


• Experience with IoT/distributed hardware monitoring and maintenance.
