Job summary

EVSE Australia is a leading EV charging solutions provider in Australia and New Zealand, seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy robust software features and systems. You will work on internal tools, external products, and analytics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role focuses on building scalable cloud data hosting, integrating services, and enabling data analytics in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or other general purpose programming languages.
• Initiative to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Experience with AWS, particularly AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Consult with key stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
• Engage with project scoping activities and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Support project planning activities including timeline estimation and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with other software engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Develop and deploy maintainable, extensible, and scalable code.
• Design and implement internal business automation tools and processes.
• Develop scalable, reliable cloud data hosting and processing solutions.
• Design and implement processes for proactive issue identification and resolution.
• Deploy and maintain logging frameworks and performance monitoring tools.
