Michael Page Australia is seeking an embedded software engineer for a leading Australian tech client in Western Australia. Design, develop and release embedded and PC-based software, translating requirements into software specifications and contributing to architecture discussions.

You will perform verification, validation and testing, support HIL and regression testing, and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Software, Mechatronics or related Engineering.
  • Experience developing embedded software solutions.
  • Strong C and C++ programming skills.
  • Understanding of 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers.
  • Experience with CAN, I2C or SPI.
  • Familiarity with Git, version control and code review practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and release embedded and PC-based software.
