Job summary

Coengineer is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our Sydney team. You will work on automation projects across Water, Manufacturing, Rail and Infrastructure, contributing to design, development, commissioning and support of electrical and automation systems.

With 3+ years of experience, you will collaborate with senior engineers, apply rigorous problem solving and help drive continuous improvement while delivering on project targets in a dynamic, close-knit environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in electrical, mechatronic or software engineering.
• 3-5 years experience as a control system, electrical or mechatronic engineer.
• Exposure to engineering problem solving methods and tools.

We are currently recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The role involves a variety of project and services-based work, focused on automation systems and solutions, primarily in the Water, Manufacturing, Rail and Infrastructure industries.

We are looking for someone with passion and drive who will be responsible for:

1. Design, development, commissioning, testing and support of electrical and automation systems

2. Learning from more experienced engineers whilst executing on project tasks

3. Consistently meeting predefined project and engineering targets

4. Contributing to the development of best practice methodologies, software, systems, procedures and uptake of the latest technologies.

The successful applicant will have:

• Degree qualified in engineering Electrical, Mechatronic, Software Engineering or similar
• 3-5 Years Experience as a Control System, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineer
• Demonstrable experience applying an engineering approach to problem solving
• Exposure to PLC and SCADA Systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively, both autonomously and within a team
• Initiative and a positive attitude towards continuous improvement & self-development.
