Job summary

Vectiq is hiring a ServiceNow Developer to work on a large Australian Government environment in Canberra. This hands‑on role focuses on configuration, scripting, integrations and platform enhancement to deliver new functionality and ongoing improvements.

You’ll collaborate with technical and business teams to troubleshoot issues and support platform releases, with a current NV1 security clearance and a contract through 30 June 2027 plus a possible extension.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and UI Policies.
• Experience building or supporting ServiceNow integrations and REST APIs.
• Current NV1 security clearance.
• Experience with ITSM, HRSD or CSM and Australian Government environments would be highly regarded.

WE’RE HIRING | ServiceNow Software Developer | Canberra

Vectiq is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a large, complex Australian Government environment and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of an enterprise ServiceNow platform.

Current NV1 Security Clearance required

Start: 5 October 2026

Contract: Until 30 June 2027 + 12-month extension

40 hours per week

THE ROLE

This is a hands‑on development opportunity for someone who is comfortable working across ServiceNow configuration, scripting, integrations and platform enhancement.

You’ll work closely with technical and business teams to build new functionality, improve existing solutions, troubleshoot issues and support the platform through ongoing releases and enhancements.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong commercial experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform
• Practical experience with tools and features such as Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and UI Policies
• Experience building or supporting ServiceNow integrations and REST APIs
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through complex platform issues
• Confidence working with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Ability to deliver effectively in a structured, security-conscious environment
• Current NV1 security clearance

Experience with ITSM, HRSD or CSM, additional ServiceNow certifications, platform upgrades/maintenance, ITIL or previous Australian Government environments would be highly regarded.
