Job summary

SuperCoders in Melbourne is seeking software developers with a broad range of interests and skills. Roles at both senior and junior levels are available; three days in the office weekly is mandatory.

We work with TypeScript, C/C++, Java, Ruby, Linux, containers, audio/video tech like ffmpeg and GStreamer, and cloud services such as AWS. You should love AI-driven development and show concrete examples of how you’ve pushed AI and LLMs to deliver real outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple programming languages (TypeScript, C/C++, Java, Ruby) and ability to demonstrate practical outcomes.
• Strong Linux knowledge and experience with containers, network programming and Linux configuration.
• Experience with audio/video processing tools (ffmpeg, gstreamer) and cloud services (AWS EC2/Lambda/ECS).

Responsibilities

• Develop software across a broad tech stack, from backend to systems level.
• Contribute to AI-driven development initiatives and showcase real-world outcomes.

Melbourne, three days per week mandatory in office.

We're looking for software developers with a broad range of interests and skills.

Senior and junior roles available.

This is a fast growing and successful small company employer approximately 60 people.

You do not need to have all of these, but these are the areas that we are working with and looking for skills in:

Programming across a range of languages - TypeScript, C/C++, Java, Ruby

Linux, hardware, containers/network programming, sophisticated Linux configuration

Audio and video - ffmpeg, video streaming and transcoding, gstreamer

Cloud/AWS/EC2/Lambda/ECS

You need to love AI driven development and be someone who has used AI to get real things done.

The right person for this job is curious and motivated and deeply interested in all aspects of computer technology - development, hardware, software and systems.
