Job summary

Armaguard Group ITS is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and support ATM and backend software across banking and financial services. You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with internal teams, customers and suppliers to deliver high-quality, reliable systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, integration work, and contributing to CI/CD in an Agile environment, with a focus on solving complex problems that directly impact customers.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and modern backend/frontend tech stacks.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and Jira/Bitbucket.
• Experience with ATM technologies or terminal-based systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking/payment protocols (NDC, XFS, AS2805) is desirable.
• Exposure to Angular and Splunk is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and support ATM and backend software solutions.
• Integrate systems using REST/SOAP APIs and database technologies.
• Provide Level 3 support including issue replication and root cause analysis.
• Work across multiple projects including enhancements, new builds and POCs.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and Agile delivery environments.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical solutions.
