Saab Australia seeks a System Integration Engineer - ATM to join our Civil - ATM Group. You will map requirements to system solutions, integrate ATM software, and verify customer-specific deployments across factory and site environments.

You will work with cross-functional teams, deploying parameterisation, conducting tests, and supporting design and validation activities in a hybrid work setting with a 9-day fortnight where possible.

Qualifications

• Degree in software engineering/computer science with suitable recent software experience.
• Eligible for chartered engineering status and state registration (Victoria/Queensland).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ATM domain including system integration.
• Knowledge of network, network security, XML and Linux.
• Knowledge of virtualisation technologies.
• Test and validation of software.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the system engineering process, including requirements management, system design, integration, test and validation.
• Ability to undertake high-level requirements derivation, system design and implementation.
• Ability to review and interpret specifications, interface documentation, drawings and estimates.
• Understand complex technical issues and manage them within project cost, time and quality constraints.
• Ability to write clear and precise technical reports.
• Well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Demonstrated awareness and ability to address whole of capability/systems issues, such as safety, ILS, cybersecurity and supportability.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Experience in the Air Traffic Management domain is highly desirable

Responsabilités

• Map customer requirements to system solutions based on Saab’s Air Traffic Management product portfolio.
• Perform requirements analysis, developing requirement specifications and participating in the design, verification and validation of solutions.
• Support the development of interface specifications, system design documents and acceptance test documents, including detailed parameterisation description.
• Effectively contribute to the realisation of Air Traffic Management projects through integration of ATM Systems.
• Liaise with product software development teams in the specification, design, development and verification of customer-specific solutions.
• Perform integration activities, working with the customer to define, develop and verify the parameterisation aspects of each site’s implementation.
• Deploy, configure, integrate and test ATM system software and parameterisation in factory and on site.
• Perform activities based on applicable policies, guidelines, cost awareness, rules and procedure (incl. health and safety, quality and environment).
