Job summary

Saab Australia is seeking a Senior System Integration Engineer – ATM for Melbourne to join an international team delivering Air Traffic Management solutions across Australia. You will lead integration activities, define interfaces, and work with customers to parameterise site implementations.

The role requires 8+ years in ATM/system integration, strong knowledge of XML, Linux, networking and cybersecurity considerations, and eligibility for Australian defence clearance. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in software engineering or computer science, with software experience.
• Eligible for chartered engineering status and state registration (Victoria).
• Minimum 8 years' ATM domain and system integration experience.
• Knowledge of XML, Linux, and network security.
• Ability to derive requirements and design verification plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an international team delivering ATM systems across Australia.
• Deploy and integrate ATM system software across towers.
• Lead integration activities and coordinate with product development and customer validation.
• Develop interface specifications and system design documents.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, quality and environmental policies.
