Job summary

Signature Hospitality Group in Melbourne is seeking a mid-level Software Developer to join our Technology team. You’ll build mobile apps with React Native and web platforms with Next.js, turning Figma designs into polished experiences across mobile and web.

You’ll work across loyalty, gift cards, bookings and guest-facing platforms, contributing to payment integrations and AI-assisted development tools as part of daily workflow.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years development experience.
• Hands-on React Native experience.
• Experience with Next.js or similar React-based web frameworks.
• Experience building high-quality UI from Figma designs.
• Solid unit and integration testing experience.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting live issues.
• Experience using AI assisted development tools in workflow.
• Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to turn ideas into practical solutions.

The Sporting Globe. TGI Fridays. Varsity.

Behind the venues, game days, burgers, beers and big nights out is a growing technology platform connecting our guests with the brands they love.

We’re looking for a Software Developer to join the Signature Hospitality Group Technology team and help build the digital products used across our venues and brands.

From loyalty apps and booking platforms to gift cards, payments and internal tools, you’ll be building products that have a genuine impact on the guest experience.

This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your days maintaining something someone built ten years ago.

We’re growing, building and trying new things, and we want someone who wants to do the same.

We like working together, properly together.

This is a Melbourne Support Office based role, with four days per week in the office and one day working from home.

We know flexibility matters, so we want to be upfront about what hybrid looks like for us. Our Technology team works closely with each other and stakeholders across the business, and we value having the team together to collaborate, problem solve and bring ideas to life.

WHAT YOU’LL BE BUILDING

Build and maintain mobile apps using React Native and web platforms using Next.js

Turn Figma designs into polished, responsive experiences across mobile and web

Work across loyalty, gift cards, bookings and other guest facing platforms

Contribute to payment integrations and flows, including platforms such as Stripe

Build automated testing across unit, integration and ideally E2E frameworks

Troubleshoot live issues, dig into the problem and get to the root cause

Use AI assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar as part of your everyday workflow

Work directly with our marketing, loyalty, operations and technology teams to turn ideas into working products

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re a mid level developer who likes building things people actually use.

You’re comfortable taking a Figma design and turning it into a great digital experience, but you’re equally happy getting under the hood when something isn’t working.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Around 3 to 5 years’ development experience
• Strong hands on experience with React Native
• Experience with Next.js or similar React based web frameworks
• Experience building high quality UI from Figma designs
• Solid unit and integration testing experience
• Strong problem solving skills and confidence troubleshooting live issues
• Experience using AI assisted development tools as part of your workflow
• The confidence to work directly with non technical stakeholders and turn ideas into practical solutions

Experience with Stripe or other payment integrations, AWS, UI/UX or E2E tools such as Playwright, Detox or Cypress would be a bonus.
