You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable applications, ensure quality and maintain comprehensive technical documentation as part of the full software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with application testing, debugging and troubleshooting methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements to design effective software and application solutions.
• Develop, test and maintain application code in line with defined technical specifications and quality standards.
• Identify system limitations, performance issues and process inefficiencies, recommending practical improvements.
• Debug, diagnose and resolve application defects within established testing and release frameworks.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with functional and technical needs.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, operational guides and user instructions.
• Support integration of applications with existing platforms, databases and third-party services.
• Contribute to software upgrades, enhancements and version control activities.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical input into solution proposals, including effort estimation, feasibility and cost considerations.
