Job summary

Atturra is seeking a talented SOE Engineer to deliver and support a secure, high-performing SOE and Virtual Desktop environment in Canberra. You will design, build, deploy, document, and troubleshoot endpoints and VDI, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with business goals.

The role emphasizes MS365/AVD proficiency, SOE process automation, and security best practices, in a predominantly office-based setting as a permanent full-time position.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and MS365.
• Experience with SOE task sequence creation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune.
• Ability to package and deploy applications.
• Experience with Airlock Digital and ISM security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design & Build: support and maintain the endpoint SOE and Virtual Desktop environment.
• Implementation: assist build and deployment processes for endpoints and VDI; provide packaging and deployment support.
• Documentation: create and maintain as-built designs and SOPs.
• Support: provide ongoing troubleshooting for endpoint and VDI issues.
• Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to align SOE designs with business objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

Are you a talented SOE engineer ready to make an impact in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are looking for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer support while helping to support a cutting-edge green fields SOE environment using MECM, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

As a SOE Engineer And Key Team Member Of Our Team, You Will Play An Essential Role In Creating, Implementing, And Maintaining a Secure And High-performing SOE Environment. Here’s How You’ll Contribute:

• Design & Build: support and maintain our endpoint SOE and Virtual Desktop Environment.
• Implementation: Assist in the build and deployment processes for our endpoints and Virtual Desktop Environment. Provide application packaging and deployment support
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including as-built designs and standard operating procedures.
• Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for endpoint and Virtual Desktop issues, minimizing downtime.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align SOE designs with our business objectives.

Working Conditions

• Predominantly office-based in Canberra
• Permanent full time
• Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain baseline clearance

What will make you successful in this role

• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and MS365
• Experience in SOE task sequence creation
