Job summary

Atturra Canberra is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure, delivering secure, scalable and reliable platforms for business-critical workloads in an enterprise setting.

You will manage Entra ID, Azure AD, Intune and AVD, implement Azure policies, certificate lifecycle, and database operations, and support SAP infrastructure within Azure, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience engineering and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of identity management using Entra ID and Azure AD.
• Hands-on experience with Intune and AVD in production settings.
• Familiarity with policy enforcement, certificate management, and database operations within Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, configuration, and management of Azure cloud environments, including deployment and maintenance of Azure VMs.
• Administer Entra ID accounts, ensuring secure access and identity governance.
• Configure, maintain, and optimise Microsoft Intune for device and application management across the enterprise.
• Support and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to provide seamless user access and performance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Azure policies to align with organisational standards and compliance requirements.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for authentication, authorisation, and directory services.
• Oversee digital certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, and security-compliant practices.
• Provide database administration within the Azure ecosystem, ensuring performance, security and data integrity.
• Support underlying SAP Infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and ensure the secure, efficient, and reliable operation of business‑critical platforms. This role requiresstrong expertise across Microsoft Azure services and enterprise administration, with a focus on scalability,governance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
