Job summary

UnitingCare Health in Maryborough invites applications for a Social Worker to join Blue Care in the Maryborough Community Care program. The role is permanent full time in Maryborough and surrounding areas, with remuneration from $42.15 to $53.96 per hour plus 12% super, salary packaging and allowances.

The candidate will provide clinical social work services, develop intervention plans, manage cases, provide counselling and educate clients and carers while upholding safeguarding and child safety

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work are essential.
• Registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers is required.
• Experience in aged care or acute settings is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with technology (smartphones/tablets/laptops) is expected.
• Current Australian driver's licence and a roadworthy vehicle are essential.

Employment Term: Permanent Full Time

Location: Maryborough and surrounding areas

You will provide our clients with Social Worker services with specialist advice and clinical services to improve their quality of life and well-being! This includes developing and implementing treatment & intervention programs, case management, clinical counselling, debriefing following critical events and education & support for clients and carers. • Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work - Essential
• Registration with relevant professional body - Australian Association of Social Workers
• Previous experience within an Aged Care or Acute setting (desirable)
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Current Australian drivers licence and roadworthy registered vehicle - Essential
