Job summary

BlueCare Maryborough Community Care in Maryborough is seeking a Social Worker on a permanent full-time basis. You will deliver social work services, provide specialist and clinical support, and help enhance clients’ quality of life and wellbeing across community care settings.

You will develop treatment and intervention plans, manage complex cases, and offer counselling and education to clients and carers, contributing to a trusted, caring team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work - Essential.
• Registration with Australian Association of Social Workers.
• Experience in Aged Care or Acute setting is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops.
• Current Australian driver's licence and roadworthy vehicle - Essential.

Responsibilities

• Employment Term: Permanent Full Time
• Location: Maryborough and surrounding areas
• Remuneration: $42.15 - $53.96 p/hr (dependent on experience) + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
• Classification: PO2.1 to PO3.3 - determined by demonstrated experience
• 5 weeks annual leave
