Job summary

BlueCare in Cairns (South) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Community Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You will assess, plan and implement client care, considering physical, social and psychological needs, and create and update care plans to reflect evolving requirements.

You’ll spend most days on the road providing in-home services across Cairns (South) and surrounding areas, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration is essential.
• General nursing experience post-registration.
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) is essential.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously.

Role requirements

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
• General nursing experience, post-registration
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
