Job summary
Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Social Work Team Leader to provide clinical leadership, supervision and management of the Social Work team within Child and Family Health Services, Community Health. The role includes direct paediatric Social Work clinical work and professional leadership to all Community Health Social Workers.
You will work Monday–Friday with potential flexible arrangements and travel across multiple district sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work with eligibility for AASW membership.
- Experience leading, supervising and managing Social Workers.
- Extensive clinical experience in client/family centred paediatric Social Work.
- Knowledge of interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration across services.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and operational management of the Social Work team in Child and Family Health Services.
- Deliver direct clinical care in paediatric Social Work and supervise Community Health Social Workers.
- Lead and coordinate the Social Work team across district sites, with travel as required.
- Support family-centred care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
