Job summary

NSW Health is seeking an Outpatient Paediatric Senior Social Worker based at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals. You will lead specialist paediatric social work, deliver evidence-based interventions and champion better outcomes for children, young people and families.

You will work within a multidisciplinary clinic, contributing to compassionate care, clinical leadership and ongoing professional development across the team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high level clinical experience in paediatric populations.
• Experience providing supervision and mentoring to staff/students.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and complex health settings.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical social work interventions for infants, children and families.
• Lead and support multidisciplinary paediatric clinic teams.
• Provide expert consultation and supervision to colleagues and students.
• Contribute to service planning, evaluation and quality improvement.
