Job summary

Acknowledge Education in Melbourne is seeking a Field Placements Co-ordinator for our Master of Social Work program. You will lead fieldwork placement material, oversee assessment, and ensure regulatory compliance while enhancing student engagement. You'll also deliver induction programs and collaborate with agencies.

This role requires a post-graduate Social Work qualification, 3+ years experience, and a commitment to CPD and professional standards within a dynamic private education provider.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification in Social Work with eligibility for membership in relevant professional bodies.
• 3+ years' post-qualification relevant industry experience.
• Willingness to undertake at least 20 hours of continued professional development each year.
• High professional and ethical conduct, resilience, and a collaborative approach to both teaching and industry engagement.
• A strong understanding of theory and practice in the relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and develop current, relevant material for fieldwork placements.
• Oversee the assessment process to align with learning outcomes, ensuring the quality and compliance of the program with AE standards and regulatory bodies.
• Engage in professional development to enhance teaching quality and stay current with emerging practices.
• Deliver engaging placement induction programs and ensure students meet the requirements for successful placement experiences.
• Incorporating feedback from agencies to enhance the onboarding process.
• Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures; Actively participate in the investigation and resolution of incidents.
