Job summary

Harmony is seeking a Social Performance Coordinator for Eva Copper Mine in Cloncurry, QLD. The role supports SPMP delivery, engages stakeholders and maintains positive relationships with Traditional Owners, government bodies and contractors.

It combines site, office and community-facing tasks across construction through operations. The successful candidate will coordinate reporting, track commitments and help foster social value in the North West Queensland community.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, communications or similar.
• Experience in mining, major projects, construction or operational environments is highly regarded.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation preparation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and reporting systems; Power BI desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of the Social Performance Management Plan across construction, readiness and early operations.
• Coordinate local communication, engagement and recognition programs to strengthen community partnerships.
• Monitor social performance commitments, actions and obligations with accurate records.
• Track, analyse and report on social performance outcomes, trends and KPIs.
• Support community engagement, consultation and community investment activities.
• Manage records relating to community enquiries, feedback, complaints and grievances.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, community organisations and government agencies.
• Support engagement activities with Traditional Owners with the Cultural Heritage Officer.
• Embed social performance expectations into day-to-day project activities with contractors and internal teams.
• Coordinate governance meetings, reporting requirements and action tracking.
• Assist with internal communications and workforce engagement initiatives for operations transition.
• Identify emerging social risks, opportunities and improvement initiatives.
