Job summary

Harmony Australasia in Australia is seeking a Superintendent – Engineering, Reliability and Planning to lead engineering systems, asset management strategies and readiness activities for the Eva Copper Mine project near Cloncurry, QLD. Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience managing engineering, reliability and planning teams.
• Strong governance, asset management and MoC knowledge.
• Experience developing and optimising maintenance and reliability strategies (FMEA, RCA, defect elimination).
• Understanding of fixed plant operations (crushing, conveying, grinding, flotation).
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling and CMMS/EAM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and governance across the process plant and site infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose operations.
• Drive operational readiness to support transition from project delivery to operations.
• Lead reliability and asset management strategies to optimise equipment performance and lifecycle.
• Lead development and implementation of maintenance planning, scheduling and work management frameworks (aligned with Pronto).
• Support commissioning, performance testing and ramp-up, ensuring issue resolution and proper records.
• Lead engineering risk management, MoC processes and technical standards governance.
• Champion defect elimination and root cause analysis, with focus on reliability improvements.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, operations, maintenance personnel, contractors and OEMs.
