Job summary

Five Star Day Spa is seeking a part-time marketing professional to independently manage our social media channels and broader marketing activities. You will plan and execute content across Instagram, Facebook, email marketing, and updates to our website, showcasing our treatments and spa experience.

The role emphasizes initiative, creativity, and a strong eye for branding. You will own the content calendar, produce high-quality media, and drive campaigns to boost brand awareness and bookings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business/brand.
• Strong content creation skills: photography, videography, editing.
• Excellent copywriting with a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, scheduling platforms and email marketing tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own social media channels (Instagram, Facebook) and content calendar.
• Create, film, edit and publish high-quality content (Reels, Stories, photos).
• Develop campaigns to showcase treatments, products, team and spa environment.
• Write captions maintaining brand voice and visuals across platforms.
• Plan email campaigns and manage website content updates.
• Monitor engagement and trends; adjust strategy accordingly.
• Support campaigns to drive bookings and product sales.

Working two days per week, you will be responsible for independently managing Five Star Day Spa's social media channels and broader marketing activities, including content creation, email marketing, website updates and public relations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can take initiative, bring fresh ideas to the table and confidently manage our marketing channels from planning through to execution. You will play a key role in showcasing our treatments, skincare products, team and spa experience, ensuring our brand is consistently represented across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook
• Develop and manage a content calendar, ensuring consistent and engaging content
• Create, film, edit and publish high-quality content, including Reels, Stories, photography and promotional posts
• Develop creative concepts and campaigns that showcase treatments, products, team and spa environment
• Write engaging captions and ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity
• Monitor engagement, respond to enquiries and stay up to date with social media trends
• Plan and create email marketing campaigns promoting treatments, products, special offers and seasonal promotions
• Manage website updates, ensuring treatment information, promotions and product details remain accurate and current
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to support brand awareness, treatment bookings and product sales
• Monitor social media and email marketing performance to understand what resonates with audience

About you

• Proven professional experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand
• Strong content creation skills, including photography, videography and video editing
• Experience developing and executing content strategies and marketing campaignsExcellent copywriting skills and a strong eye for detail and aesthetics
• Experience with email marketing and website content management
• The ability to work independently, manage priorities and take initiative
• A solid understanding of social media analytics and digital marketing performance
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, social media scheduling platforms and email marketing tools is required
